lЗа първи път в България гостува английската dream pop/synthpop група Still Corners. Тя е създадена през 2009 г. в Лондон от вокалистката Теса Мъри и продуцента и музикант Грег Хюз. След серия EP-та, издадени в Англия, бандата става част от селекцията на Sub Pop Records (Fleet Foxes, Foals, Beach House и през 90-те — Nirvana и Soundgarden). За Sub Pop Still Corners издават три албума, които се радват на популярност в независими медии като Spin, NME и Pitchfork.

За записите на последния си албум “Slow Air” Still Corners сменят познатия декор на Лондон с Остин, Тексас. Както загатва и името, албумът пренася слушателите в лежерната атмосфера на безкрайния тексаски хоризонт.

Групата идва в София за годишнината на рекламната агенция NEXT-DC(https://next-dc.com/). След концерта събитието ще продължи с музикална селекция на DJ, който предстои да бъде обявен.

This winter the British dream pop/synthpop band Still Corners comes to the Bulgarian stage for the first time. The music duo formed in London in 2009 by vocalist Tessa Murray and producer/multi-instrumentalist Greg Hughes.

Following a series of EPs released in the UK, the band signed with the notorious American label Sub Pop. This resulted in the release of 3 albums, making the band a regular act on the dream-pop/synthpop scene. With the positive reviews of independent media such as Spin, NME and Pitchfork, Still Corners quickly got the attention of indie-pop enthusiasts.

For their last album the music duo looked for inspiration away from their native London, and found themselves in Austin, Texas. As a result, the band released the rich, atmospheric and ethereal “Slow Air”, inspired by the heat of America’s west.

Still Corners are invited to Bulgaria for the anniversary of the advertising agency NEXT-DC (https://next-dc.com/). The concert will be followed up by musical selection by a local DJ.
